Lorienne Jenstad, Ph. D.
Associate Professor
Lorienne Jenstad completed her B.A (Honours) at Queen’s University, her M.Cl.Sc. at the University of Western Ontario and her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Washington. Currently, Lorienne is an Associate Professor at UBC’s School of Audiology and Speech Sciences. Her research interests include i) Measuring the effects of amplification signal processing on speech acoustics and intelligibility; ii) Determining candidacy for types of signal processing in hearing aids, particularly for older adults; iii) Hearing healthcare for older adults.
